Nandita is a Google Lime Scholar and was named the 2020 Diversity Champion Award: Accessibility. As someone who identifies as a person with a disability, Nandita founded the Shakti Collective to use the power of storytelling to showcase the stories of diverse professionals in digital accessibility.

Dr. Carrie Bruce
Advisor
Dr. Carrie Bruce, PhD, CCC-SLP, is a researcher in person-environment interaction with 20+ years experience in healthcare, rehabilitation, HCI, accessibility, and universal design. She has advised Nandita for the past one year, and is the primary advisor for The Shakti Collective.
As a Principal Research Scientist at Georgia Tech, she is the Research Director for the MS-HCI program; teaches courses related to accessibility, universal design, and interactive products; and conducts research related to technology and information design.
